Septic Sauce is an online YouTube brand that serves as the pseudonym for a personal content creation house, focused on news and views within the gaming industry. Septic Sauce have lofty ambitions across their platforms to grow and reach new heights which surpass the norm within the gaming community and within the content creator space.
PROJECT BREAKDOWN
Septic Sauce first reached out during the initial stages of realising their vision for their new personal channel. As an experienced creator, they already knew the fundamentals of the approach to their new project, however, they required creative support with ideating, strategising and designing their new brand, and then required further assistance with facilitating its launch across different platforms. I was fortunate to join this project from the very start and was able to provide comprehensive creative support throughout.

CREATIVE INSIGHT
Septic Sauce brings an unmatched energy to their content, and our goal was to create a brand identity that mirrored that character and humour. A bold, vibrant aesthetic inspired by their channel name was embraced, incorporating personal tastes to shape the creative direction further. Blending their self-described ‘controlled chaos’ with a clean yet street-style graphical approach, inspiration was drawn from grungy graffiti and street art to capture a vibe unique to them. To ensure the design was both dynamic and adaptable for video content, we incorporated a lot of distinctive animation and sound design - an often-overlooked element in branding work for content creation. The final package not only resonated with their existing audience but also positioned them to attract new viewers, unlock pathways to new brand partnerships, and explore merchandising opportunities.
