Septic Sauce brings an unmatched energy to their content, and our goal was to create a brand identity that mirrored that exact character and humour they are known for. A bold, vibrant aesthetic that was inspired directly by their channel name was immediately embraced, which we then refined through incorporating personal tastes to help shape the creative foundations further. By blending their self-described ‘controlled chaos’ with a clean yet street-style graphical approach, our creative direction was spliced with subtle characteristics of grungy graffiti and street art to capture a vibe that was unique to them. To ensure the brand design was both dynamic and adaptable for video content, we incorporated a lot of distinctive animation and sound design to introduce further character and engagement - an often-overlooked element in branding work for content creation. We then took this project one step further after the initial branding phase had been completed and built a fully bespoke website from the ground up to give them an online home that housed all of the gateways to their content and provided a new HUB for their audience explore. The final project package not only resonated with their existing audience but also positioned them in a new light to attract viewers, unlock pathways to new brand partnerships, and explore future merchandising opportunities.
