PROJECT BREAKDOWN
JobRefer were looking to collaborate on developing their brand strategy and brand identity to provide them with the foundations needed to start development on their product's platform and getting their business online. They required a design direction that was simple, clean and streamlined, but had a professional, friendly and fun edge that mirrored the nature of their business and the purpose of their platform. It needed to be versatile enough to span and support listings from multiple industries and for businesses of all sizes.

CREATIVE INSIGHT
Direct simplicity was the driving force behind the direction of this project. The concept of forward motion, more specifically the idea of quick, effortless forwarding, became the core idea that resonated with exact purpose of the brand and was a central theme instilled within the strategy. This provided the entry point for conceptualising the identity. The client preferred the approach of having a basic wordmark logo that could be condensed down to letter mark icon and could stand on its own. With this in mind, we proceeded to craft the designs in a way that combined all of these elements, resulting with our own 'referral arrow' becoming the mark for the brand. The broader identity then echoed this approach to create standout supporting assets. A tonal palette was finally introduced to bring everything together conclusively in the brand guidelines which were then delivered on times to enable brand application into the platform's very first design phases.
